Announcements

  • Please note that only smoke machines provided by the university maybe used as they follow COSHH rules and regulations.

  • Out of Hours Working

    • If you wish to continue working out of our standard hours, please download here and fill in the form to give to security. Terms & Conditions are here. This is required 2 working days before you plan to use it and sent to mediabookings@glos.ac.uk
  • Permit to Work

    • When you want to use a smoke machine in the film studio to fill in the form and use the smoke machine that will be available from the kit store. This is required 2 working days before you plan to use it and sent to mediabookings@glos.ac.uk
  • Risk Assessments

    • Risk assessments need to be done for every location and checked by your lecturers.

Policies

  • You must have your student card with you when collecting and returning your equipment.
  • Please make a booking before you arrive at the kit store.
  • The person checking the equipment out is responsible for any loss or damage during your time.
  • We ask you to be on time collecting and returning your equipment.
  • If you know you are going to be late please let a member of the kit store team or any of the technicians know.
  • The person who made the booking must be present when collecting and returning all equipment.
  • Please report any damage as soon as possible to a member of the kit store team or any of the technicians so we can help you, we may be able to repair the damage.
  • All equipment can only be booked for a maximum of 4 days in a row.
  • It is your responsibility to check the equipment is what you require.
  • If you have any issues during your booking, please contact us and we will do what we can to help you.
